To fasten at least one second type of valve top (e.g. a knob or actuator) to the casing, an external thread (101) and adjacent shoulder (97) are provided. In the casing (80) a connector (95) carries a seal (92). Axial movement is possible from a first position where the clamping surface is clear, into further position(s). Between peg (91) and closure section (85) a coupling (89) is provided, which compensates for variation in spacing.
