PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inorganic filler which can produce, at a low cost, a resin molding having an excellent appearance, is excellent in the effect of improving the properties of a resin, and is excellent in granulation workability, a resin composition containing the inorganic filler, and a method for manufacturing the same. SOLUTION: The filler of the invention is prepared by compressing an inorganic filler having an average particle size of 0.04-10μm and a bulk specific gravity of 0.1-0.5 to deaerate 34-92% of the gas contained in the inorganic filler, the volume ratio (gas/solid) of the gas and the solid in the inorganic filler being 2.0-6.0. The resin composition of the invention is produced by mixing the filler thus deaerated with a resin. |
