<p>PURPOSE: A refrigerator having dual shelf structure is provided to use the space of a storage compartment efficiently by changing the position of shelves freely depending on size of food without removing the shelf from the storage compartment. CONSTITUTION: Dual shelf(20) include a fixed shelf(21) removable on a track, a movable shelf(22) under the fixed shelf and a position changer connecting the two shelves each other and moving the movable shelf up and down. When a connecting rod(32) is positioned on the maximum distant groove of a position changing slot(31), the space between the fixed shelf and the movable shelf is enlarged to the maximum. The connecting rod is kept inserted into the maximum distant groove by the weight of food and gravity of the movable shelf. To store food having large volume, a user pushes up the movable shelf. Thereby, the connecting rod is moved to the center of the movable shelf along the position changing slot. The movable shelf is moved up. The connecting rod is inserted into a variable groove at the proper position corresponding to the size of food. The movable shelf is laid thereon. Therefore, efficiency of a refrigerator and convenience in use is enhanced.</p> |
