PURPOSE: A headerless heat exchanger and a method for producing the headerless heat exchanger are provided to smoothly flow coolants and to reduce the volume, without a header. CONSTITUTION: Many coolant circulating tubes(1) are molded and widely opened both ends of the tubes to form wide opening portions(2). The wide opening portions are stuck each other and radiating fins(3) are installed between tubes. In this state, tubes are brazed and a tank having an inlet port and an outlet port is joined with the wide opening portion of each tube, to be a headerless heat exchanger. The brazed portions of the tubes fill the role of a header function.
