PURPOSE: A rear-end collision buffering device for a truck is provided to protect a driver from a rear-end collision and to minimize the damage of the truck by buffering impact applied to a rear guard. CONSTITUTION: A rear guard(10) is fixed to a connecting link(12) and the connecting link is rotatively fixed to one end of a fixing support(19) by a hinge(13). The fixing support is fixed to a cross frame(16) of a truck. A cylinder rod(14) is fixed to the other end of the connecting link to be connected to a buffering device. The buffering device contains an air cylinder(15) installed in the cylinder rod and connected to a relief valve(22) and an air tank(23) with a solenoid switch(21) inside through an air discharge line(20). The air cylinder buffers impact applied to the rear guard with compressed air.
