PURPOSE: A compensator of a TPS(Throttle Position Sensor) for a vehicle is provided to promote exact engine control by compensating output voltage of a TPS for detecting the opening of a throttle valve. CONSTITUTION: A compensator of a TPS consists of: a TPS(10) driven by VCC from an ECU(Engine Control Unit,20) to detect voltage necessary for opening of a throttle valve; and a compensation unit(30) for compensating the VCC from the TPS to the ECU for controlling an engine according to an output signal from the TPS. The TPS receives the VCC from the ECU and detects voltage(V1) corresponding to variable resistance value of a variable resistance depending on step-on of an acceleration pedal. Thereby, the ECU compensates the V1 through the compensation unit and outputs the compensated signal. Therefore, the engine is controlled exactly by precise detection of throttle opening.
