PURPOSE: A switch apparatus is provided to prevent moisture from being penetrated into a terminal on an inside of a switch apparatus. CONSTITUTION: A drain room(15) is formed on a side surface of a body(10). A shielding wall(17) is formed on a central part of the drain room(15). A through hole(18) is formed on an inside of the shielding wall(17) to be communicated with an inside of the body(10). The through hole(18) is a portion where a push bar(25) of a switching button(20) is positioned. The through hole(18) has a rectangular shape with edge portions being round for operation of the push bar(25). A hinge hole(11) is formed on both side walls to be communicated with an inside of the drain room(15). The shielding wall(17) is protruded on a central part of the drain room(15) up to a position slightly lower than a surface of the body(10). The shielding wall(17) does not surround the entire through hole(18) but surrounds three sides of the through hole. A drain slot(19) passes through an inside wall of the drain room(15) up to an outer surface of the body(10). The drain slot(10) has a predetermined gradient from a bottom surface of the drain room(15).
