PURPOSE: A device of testing a multi-core cable is provided to test for shorting the long multi-core cable constructed inside the wall without removing the multi-core cable out of the wall. CONSTITUTION: In the device of testing a multi-core cable, a cable tester(150), connecting all lines of the multi-core cable(140) to a single point, is connected to the multi-pin connecter(130) of one end of the multi-core cable(140). A resistance tester(170), connected to the single line to be tested, is connected to the multi-pin connecter(130) of the other end of the multi-core cable(140). Here, the multi-core cable(140) is constructed inside a system or inside a building structure.
