PURPOSE: A soundproof plate for a road is provided to intercept the noise of traveling vehicles by assembling many panels at the appointed height on a roadside, not to interrupt the traveling of the vehicles by preventing a front plate from reflecting light, to install easily, and to use semi-permanently with excellent durability. CONSTITUTION: A soundproof plate(10) for a road comprises: a main body(11) formed by folding a steel plate and provided with a retreated part(12) having a trapezoid shaped section and an assembly projection(13) whose upper and lower parts are inclined parallel to one way; many front plates(14) as a plate made of high-density polyethylene provided with many sound-absorbing holes(15), a guide projection(16), assembly grooves(17), and an assembly projection in one and assembled to the front of the main body; a primary finishing member folded to have the same shape of a section as one end of the main body, provided with a fixed projection folded forward in L shape longitudinally to fix the assemble projection of the front plate and assembled to one end of the main body where the assemble projection of the front plate is located; a secondary finishing member folded to have the same shape of a section as the other end of the main body, provided with a fixed projection folded forward in L shape longitudinally to fix the rear sidewall of the assembly groove of the front plate and assembled to one end of the main body where the assembly groove of the front plate is located; a sound-absorbing material(23) built in the main body to absorb and remove the noise absorbed through the sound-absorbing holes and made with woven fabric or glass wool; and a coating material(24) piled to the outer surface of the sound-absorbing material to protect the sound-absorbing material and made of glass cloth.
