PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an AC power generator which assures higher lining degree at the coil end portion and improvement in insulation property between stator iron core and coil and in assembling efficiency. SOLUTION: This AC power generator is provided with a rotor, a rotor iron core 15 surrounding this rotor and a stator 8 having a multi-phase stator coil loaded to this stator iron core 15, wherein the stator iron core 15 has the cylindrical butting portion extending in the axial direction through the butting of both end portions and the multi-phase stator coil 16 includes a plurality of windings wherein a long-length strand 30 is folded at the outside of the slot 15a in the end surface side of the stator iron core and coiled in such a manner that the internal layer and external layer are formed alternately in the slot depth direction within the slot 15a for every specified number of slots. Moreover, in this AC power generator, an insulating member 19 is provided between the stator iron core 15 and the linear part 30b of the coil of winding. |
