PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aim at prevention of deterioration of contact reliability due to twist of a wire and at improvement of workability. SOLUTION: An extended part outside a housing connector 10 of a wire W held by the connector housing 10 in almost linear line is twisted into a twist pair wire Wp, and an insulation displacement terminal fitting 30 fitted in the connector housing 10 and the wire W are pressure welded. Since the two wires W can be connected to the connector housing 10 in almost parallel as they are, there is no need of cumbersome work of untwisting the wire W. Further, the pressure welding of the wire W and the pressure welded terminal fitting 30 comes after twisting of the wire W, so that there is no fear of contact failure of the wire W with the insulation displacement terminal fitting 30 resulting from twisting deformation of the wire W.
