PURPOSE: A base station power control method within CDMA communication system is provided to breaking remotely power of a rectifier, as a power device within the base station, by a remote command in case of generating a problem in the base station. CONSTITUTION: In an operation of the system, because a fatal case such as an inundation of the base station is occurred, in case of breaking power of the base station, a command instructing the power-off of the base station is sent from BSM to a main board, the main board transmits the power-off command to a rectifier(a). Then, the rectifier transmits the signal for reconfirming the power-off command to the main board(b). Thereafter, the BSM transmits the final power-off command to the main board and the main board transmits the signal to the rectifier(c). According to this, the rectifier performs the power-off function(d) and then transmits the finish signal regarding the power-off command to the main board. The main board transmits the finish signal to the BSM(e).
