PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic analyzing apparatus with a small and light- weight dispensing apparatus which can surely detect a collision brought about during a dispensing operation with a high sensitivity and can promptly stop the dispensing operation. SOLUTION: The automatic analyzing apparatus is provided with the dispensing apparatus 5 which has a dispensing nozzle 7 for dispensing a liquid for analysis, a holding part 6 for holding the dispensing nozzle 7 to a leading end, a driving means 14 for driving the holding part 6 and a control means 19 for controlling the driving means 14. The dispensing apparatus 5 has an acceleration sensor 15 set to the leading end of the holding part for detecting the collision, a discriminating part 31 for discriminating the driving state in accordance with information from the control means 19, a changing means 32 for changing a threshold for comparison with information detected by the acceleration sensor 15 based on information from the discriminating part 31, and a comparing part 33 for comparing the information detected by the acceleration sensor 15 with the threshold changed by the changing means 32. |
