GLASS COMPOSITION FOR JOINING INCLINATION AND USE THEREOF

PURPOSE: A glass composition for joining a copper pipe being used for a vacuum tube typed solar collector and pyrex glass, is provided which has good fluidity and joining property when being joined with the copper pipe and has less than 20% of a thermal expansion coefficient difference between the pyrex glass. Also, the use thereof is provided. CONSTITUTION: The glass composition for joining inclination comprises: (i) 1-3 wt.% of Al2O3; (ii) 5-20 wt.% of B2O3; (iii) not more than 5 wt.% of CuO; (iv) 1-20 wt.% of total of Li2O, Na2O and K2O; (v) not more than 15 wt.% of total of CaO and SrO; and (vi) 65-75 wt.% of SiO2. A heat pipe and a vacuum glass pipe of the vacuum tube typed solar collector are joined by using the glass composition for joining inclination.
