PURPOSE: Reducing device and method for vibration of a vehicle engine are provided to reduce vibration of the engine caused by torque deviation between cylinders through reducing torque deviation by controlling ignition timing. CONSTITUTION: By using RPM(Revolutions Per Minute) and air amount, operation area of an engine is recognized. Then, the timing for correcting a torque deviation map between cylinders is decided. In case of the timing not for the correction, a torque deviation data is read from the torque deviation map. The ignition timing in the read torque deviation data is changed. Then, an engine is operated by using the changed ignition timing. In case of the timing for the correction of the torque deviation map, torque between the cylinders is measured. Then, the torque deviation map is corrected by using calculated torque deviation.
