PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner in which generation of noise due to collision of air flow from an axial fan against the fins of a heat exchanger is reduced. SOLUTION: A heat exchanger is provided with a mesh-like plate at a part where the distance to a fan is shortest. Air passed through the mesh-like plate generates a trace turbulence and the direction of air flow passing through the fins of the heat exchanger is altered thus reducing generation of nose at the fins. |
