PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parts mounting machine for improving productivity by reducing the time required for changing a circuit board in a parts-mounting position. SOLUTION: A plurality of mounting heads 5 that run on a running path 6 with a straight part 6b is controlled, a circuit board 4 is retained by first and second substrate-positioning tables 1 and 2 that are moved and controlled in a Y-axis direction for orthogonally crossing the straight part 6b, one of them is arranged at the lower portion of the straight part 6b for positioning in a Y-axis direction, and the stopping position of the fitting head 5 is controlled and the electronic parts are fitted to a specific position. While one of the parts is mounted, a circuit board is supplied to the other. Then, when the mounting of the parts is completed, the position below the straight part 6b of a substrate positioning table is changed by moving in the Y-axis direction. The circuit board is carried in and out while one of the parts is being mounted, mounting operation can be made immediately after the exchange. |
