PURPOSE: A character message transmitting method through an Internet is provided to prevent a discomfort of a client related to a language violence with a character message by searching characters related to the language violence through a character message searching algorithm and determining whether the character message is to be transmitted. CONSTITUTION: When a user requests transmission of a character message through the Internet(S10), a main controller of a computer determines whether there is a character string related to a language violence among the transmission requested message(S12). If there is no character string related to the language violence among the transmission requested message, the main controller transmits the character message(S14). If there is a character string related to a language violence among the transmission request message, the main controller of the computer displays a content that the requested character message transmission is not possible on a screen(S20). The main controller determines whether the character message has been completely transmitted(S16). When the message has been completely transmitted, the main controller displays a character message transmission completion screen(S18). If the message transmission has not been completed, the main controller displays a character message transmission failure screen(S22).
