<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect the deterioration of a sensor itself by accurately isolating the sensor deterioration of a plant from the characteristic change of the plant. SOLUTION: A sensor deterioration detection device is provided with an initial plant model 1 generated on the basis of plant input/output(I/O) data obtained at the start of operation, a time-elapsed plant model 2 generated on the basis of plant I/O data obtained after the start of operation, a sensor deterioration estimation part 4 for estimating the deterioration of a prescribed sensor in the plant based on the plant model 1, and a similarity decision part 6 for deciding similarity between the deterioration of the prescribed sensor estimated by the estimation part 4 and the output of the real plant 3. The detection device is also provided with a similarity decision part 7 for judging similarity between the output of the plant model 2 and the output of the real plant 3 and a sensor deterioration decision part 8 for deciding which is generated, concerning the deterioration of only the prescribed sensor or the characteristic changes of the prescribed sensor and the actual plant 3 itself based on the decided results of both the similarity decision parts 6, 7.</p> |
