PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image synthesizing method, with which a synthetic image at 360 deg. projected on a cylindrical plane can be suitably provided without deviating the joint of starting and ending terminals in the synthetic image even in the case of images manually photographed without using a tripod. SOLUTION: This method is provided with a cylindrical plane projecting processing step for projecting the image on the cylindrical plane, correspondent area extracting step for extracting correspondent areas between images adjacent to the starting terminal in the prescribed projected images provided in that cylindrical plane projecting processing step, deviation quantity calculating step for calculating the quantity of deviation between the projected images of the starting and ending terminals when the projected images corresponding to 360 deg. are synthesized on the basis of the correspondent areas provided in that correspondent area extracting step, and image synthesizing step for synthesizing the projected images corresponding to 360 deg. on the basis of the correspondent areas provided in the correspondent area extracting step and the deviation quantity obtained in the deviation quantity calculating step. |
