PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive material for planographic printing by a silver salt diffusion transfer process using an aluminum base, having high sensitivity to a blue laser beam source, a high yield of transferred silver and good aging stability of the material and making an image nearly free from microvoids. SOLUTION: The photosensitive material bas a layer containing physical developing nuclei and a non-orthochromatic photosensitive high silver chloride emulsion layer on a base with aluminum in which 2nd phase grains of >=5μm grain diameter are not substantially present as a substrate. An aluminum substrate cast by a continuous casting and rolling method is particularly used as the base. |
