PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel structure for a counter module, with which a pedometer can be miniaturized. SOLUTION: Concerning the pedometer provided with the counter module composed of a magnetic sensing element part 11 and a movable magnet part 12, the movable magnet part 12 is composed of a spherical magnet 14 held by a coil-shaped spring 13 and a cylindrical guide pipe 15 for guiding the spherical magnet 14 so as to vibrate in the fixed direction. The glass pipe 15 has impact absorbers 16 for improving stability in counting operation at both terminals. Besides, sensitivity control is performed by controlling the sensitivity of the counter module by adjusting the length of the coil-shaped spring 13 in the movable magnet part 12.
