PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make operability good, enable an operating condition of a load to be easily identified, and also enable a position to be easily identified even under a dark ambient condition. SOLUTION: A push button switch 5A comprises a neon tube L for indication of a position, and a light emitting diode LD for indication of a condition. When a piano handle 43 is operated, a push button handle 32 is pushed down against a resilient spring 37, so that a reverse handle 31 is rotated. When the reverse handle 31 is reversely rotated, a coil spring 30 is reversed so that an opening/ closing body 24 is reversed and a moving contact 29 is separated from a fixed contact 25 to have the contact section 100 in an opened condition. In this condition, supply of power from an external power source to a load is stopped to turn off the load. Also, current is not detected in a current transformer CT, the light emitting diode LD is turned off, and the neon tube L is turned on, thereby forming the position indication. On the other hand, under a closing condition of the contact section 100, the load is on, the light emitting diode LD is switched on, and the neon tube L is turned off.
