PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric source for lighting discharge lamp that can prevent occurrence of successive brightness change and also reduce the number of occurrence of brightness change. SOLUTION: The device comprises an electric source control circuit 1, a signal transmitting circuit 2 generating an on/off signal from the electric source control circuit 1, an AC converting circuit 3 driving a switching element Q1 to Q4 by the signal transmitting circuit 2, and at least a discharge lamp 5 generating consecutive lighting status by the output of the AC converting circuit 3. The signal transmitting circuit 2 and AC converting circuit 3 have a function of generating DC voltage area and DC current area which are longer than the standard AC cycle in the AC voltage and AC current supplying electricity to the discharge lamp 5 and also a function to reverse and output the polarity of the DC voltage area and DC current area. |
