PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a comparatively lightweight engine cover protecting transmission of noise of the engine, which can be mounted without using a vibration isolating member or the like, and which can be formed using a comparatively low-cost mold die. SOLUTION: An engine cover 30 comprises a sound absorption layer 10 which is made of a form of polymer material and at least a part of which abuts on a surface of an engine 36, and a protection layer 20 which is made of a soft resin and adhered to the sound absorption layer 10. The sound absorption layer 10 of the engine cover absorbs engine noise, and the protection layer 20 blocks out the noise and protects the sound absorption layer 10.
