PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving method of a plasma display panel capable of displaying a satisfactory picture even when the pulse width of a driving pulse which is applied to a plasma display panel is shortened. SOLUTION: Each time, the writing of data with respect to one display line group among plural display line groups in a plasma display panel is completed, a sustaining discharging operation is executed with respect to respective light emitting cells belonging the one display line group.
