PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a switch device being of a small size and using a less power by reducing leakage to lower pressure from rising pressure of inner pressure in driving. SOLUTION: This switch device has a pair of cavities inside of a pair of substrates 71, 72 and a passage 2 for communicating them. Conductive fluid 12 is provided to move freely in the passage 2. The conductive fluid 12 is forced toward other side from one side of one cavity by relative high pressure acting thereon, and it is configured that an electric pass including the conductive fluid 12 can be changed to a connection condition or disconnection condition. The passage 2 is made to have an approximately oval shape by opposing grooves 73, 74. Therefore, since a gap between the conductive fluid 12 provided inside thereof and an inner surface of the passage 2 becomes smaller, the pressure acting on the passage 12 can effectively act on the conductive fluid 12.
