PURPOSE: To provide an active matrix substrate, capable of readily restricting leakage of unrequired electric charges from pixel defects which may cause line defects, a two-dimensional image detector provided therewith, and a method for correcting pixel defects of the two-dimensional image detector. CONSTITUTION: An active matrix substrate 10 contains an electric wiring arranged in a lattice-like manner with a gate electrode 2,... and a data electrode 3,...; a thin film transistor 4 provided in each lattice point; a pixel electrode 11 connected to the data electrode 3 via the thin film transistor 4; and an electric charge accumulation capacitance 5 connected in series to the pixel electrode 11. There is provided, for example, an elongatedly formed connection electrode 13 for facilitating laser cutting, in a part of an electrode connecting the data electrode 3,... with the pixel electrode 11.
