PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the transmission efficiency per transmission power by efficiently using the transmission power, in the case of data communication adopting a multicarrier modulation demodulation system where data are assigned to a plurality of carriers (tones). SOLUTION: Power assigned to a tone equivalent to part of a higher noise at a receiver side, as shown in solid lines (a) in Figure 4, is assigned to a tone equivalent to part of a smaller noise at the receiver side so as to enhance the S/N ratio at the part of the small noise shown in solid lines (b).
