PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion device which is improved in a press structure for employing thick and thin combustion, facilitates assemblage and has a uniform temperature distribution of flames. SOLUTION: A combustion device 1 is constituted with two side plate members 2, 3 and a flame hole member 5 with the member 5 being clamped between the members 2, 3. The side plate member 3 is provided with a mixing portion 7 and a vertical wall portion 8. Further, the side plate member 3 is provided with a fuel gas directing port 14 for directing a fuel gas. A gas channel is formed between the two side plate members 2, 3. The fuel gas directed to the side plate member 3 is supplied to the other side plate member 2 through the gas channel. Air is supplied from below a space formed between the two side plate members. In a conventional combustion device, air has been directed from both sides of a combustion tube body, whereas in the combustion device of the present invention, air is supplied from between the two side plate members 2, 3. Accordingly, air is introduced from one portion with respect to the widthwise direction and thus the distribution of air supplied to the flame hole portion is rendered to be uniform, thereby uniforming the concentration distribution of the fuel gas.
