PURPOSE: An apparatus for decontaminating steam generator chamber of a nuclear power station is provided to reduce radiation exposed, solve a work unwelcomed phenomenon in a radiation area, decrease a number of workers and improve technological competitiveness. CONSTITUTION: A man-way is arranged on a steam generator chamber. A guide groove has a predetermined width and a limit switch is installed on both ends of the guide groove. A combination guide rail and base plate(10) is inserted into the man-way and allows the guide groove to pass therethrough. An upper nozzle(50) and a lower nozzle(60) are units for spraying water. An upper roller(70) and a lower roller(80) are units for movement. A nozzle body(20) is installed within the guide groove, contacts with the limit switch by being horizontally moved along the guide groove and has the upper and lower nozzles(50,60) and the upper and lower rollers(70,80) on an upper end and a lower end thereof. An air cylinder(30) is installed on a rear end part of the base plate(10), connected to the nozzle body and a piston rod(31) and horizontally moves the nozzle body by receiving a control of the limit switch. A water pump(40) is connected to a water supply hose(90) and the nozzle body and supplies a high pressure water to the nozzle body.
