摘要 |
PURPOSE: An optical filter integrate laser diode and wave length fixing light source structure is provided to measure a fine optical wave length change easily with a general optical detector by using a multiple microcavity integrate structure. CONSTITUTION: A distributed feedback laser diode(DBF-LD) is supplied on a substrate(1). A multiple microcavity filter(MMCF) is arranged at the rear side of the distributed feedback laser diode. A diffraction grating(5) which is supplied at an active layer of the distributed feedback laser diode makes the distributed feedback laser diode to be operated in a designated wave length, and a part of lights that is generated there goes out through the multiple microcavity filter. The multiple microcavity filter makes a filtering lights of special wave length. Integration of the multiple microcavity filter is possible with anyone of monolithic or hybrid integration.
