PURPOSE: An advertizing method by using a portable electronic book is provided which is to advertise a specific enterprise or specific goods to users as using the portable electronic book. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of: (i) determining present power source state of the portable electronic book; (ii) displaying advertizing information stored in a memory of the portable electronic book on a flatbed displaying device when the power source of the portable electronic book changes from "off" state to "on" state; and (iii) if the advertizing information is displayed, displaying other information excepting the advertizing information.
