REFLECTIVE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

PURPOSE: A reflective liquid crystal display is provided which is able to improve the reflexibility. CONSTITUTION: The display comprises: (i) a lower part base plate(20) where a thin film transistor and a reflective electrode(22) are arranged in an active matrix form; (ii) an upper part base plate(27) which is opposite to the lower part base plate with having a certain interval and has a common electrode(28) forming a field with the reflective electrode; (iii) a liquid crystal layer(30) which is interposed between the upper part and the lower part base plate; (iv) a polarizing plate(32) which is placed on the outside of the upper part base plate and filters natural light to certain direction; and (v) a color filter(25) which has a black matrix(23) being formed on the lower part base plate to cover the thin film transistor and color pixels(24a, 24b) being formed on the upper part or the lower part of a pixel electrode placed between the black matrix.
