<p>An aqueous composition comprising, as an effective component, an iron salt containing a two-valent iron and a three-valent iron in one compound, which is represented by the general formula (A): Fe(II)mFe(III)nY-z(2m+3n)/z wherein m and n represent a positive integer, Y represents a counter anion capable of rendering the whole iron salt to be water-soluble, and z is the ionic valence of Y. The aqueous composition is effectively used for prevention of the corrosion of a metal, prevention of the damage caused by salt, and the like.</p> |
