PURPOSE: A controller ground of a microwave oven is provided to discharge the static electricity transmitted to a controller to a cavity by electrically connecting a portion of a metal front plate to the cavity. CONSTITUTION: A discharging bent part(30) is formed by extending a portion of a front plate(22) composing the front face of a controller(20) to the rear face of the controller. When the controller is mounted in a cavity(10), the discharging bent part is electrically connected with the cavity. Therefore, static electricity applied to the front plate of the controller is transmitted to the cavity through the discharging bent part instead of a microcomputer of elements of the controller and discharge out of a microwave oven via a ground connection of the microwave oven. Further, the operational reliability of the microwave oven is improved by preventing the influence of the static electricity to elements or the microcomputer.
