PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an electrostatic recorder where there is little scattering in a toner image after a transfer, a transfer of high image quality can be carried out even when width of paper is different, no soiling of a surface of a transfer roll that is in direct contact with a photoreceptor drum and no influence to the photoreceptor drum in the electrostatic recorder where a roll transfer method is utilized for transferring of the toner image from an image carrier to the paper. SOLUTION: In the device, the transfer roll is provided with a multiple number of electrodes corresponding to the paper of different widths, the electrodes are insulated in between by insulating film layers, a foamed polyurethane rubber layer is formed outside an electrode constitution and a polyurethane series coating layer where volume resistivity and releasing property is improved by mixing in fluorinated resin is formed on top of the above. |
