PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide the best reproduction characteristics for a user by saving the trouble to make settings by the user. SOLUTION: A reproducing device reproduces information recorded on reproduction media 22. An MPU 10 sets reproduction characteristics (sound volume level, equalizing characteristics, etc.), of reproduction in specific units (e.g. music) of the information recorded on the reproduction media 22 according to a user's indication inputted from a panel part 12 and stores them as reproduction control data in a specific area of a storage part 18 in the device or the reproduction media 22. The MPU 10 reproduces the information recorded on the reproduction media 22 according to the reproduction characteristics (reproduction control data) stored on the reproduction media 22. |
