PURPOSE: A reflective LCD(liquid crystal display) is to simplify a fabricating process of the LCD without lowering of light using efficiency, thereby reducing fabricating cost thereof. CONSTITUTION: External light is incident to the first substrate(30). The first electrode(36) is formed on the first substrate. The second substrate(32) is disposed to be opposite to the first substrate, while being apart from the first substrate at a desired distance. The second electrode(38) is formed on the second substrate to be opposite to the first electrode. A liquid crystal layer(44) is disposed between the first and second electrodes. A color filter layer(50) is selectively provided on one of the first and second substrates. A reflecting layer(34) reflects the light incident through the liquid crystal layer. A light diffusing portion diffuses or disperses the light, which is reflected from the reflecting layer and advanced to the first substrate. The light diffusing portion is provided at the color filter layer. And also, the light diffusing portion consists of beads scattered on the color filter layer. |
