METHOD FOR COATING METAL PELLETS

PURPOSE: A method is provided which restrains decrease of metallization ratio progressed by corrosion reaction by immersing metal pellets into a lauric acid solution under the appropriate conditions so that organic coating layer is formed on the surface of the pellets as well as internal pores of the pellets. CONSTITUTION: In a method for forming a coating layer for restraining the chemical reaction of metal pellets, the method for coating metal pellets comprises the process of drying the coating layer formed iron pellets at a temperature of 40 deg.C or less after forming a coating layer on the iron pellets by immersing iron pellets into a lauric acid solution which is controlled to the temperature range of less than 50 to 140 deg.C for more than 30 minutes.
