ELECTROSLAG WELDING FLUX ADDED WITH MOLYBDENUM OXIDE

PURPOSE: A flux for welding an electroslag added with a molybdenium oxide is provided to carry out the electroslag welding work smoothly and improve the characteristics of deposit metals such as stainless steel by adding the molybdenium oxide to the electroslag welding flux since most of the molybdenium is transferred to the deposit metals. CONSTITUTION: A flux for welding an electroslag added with a molybdenium oxide consists of CaF2: 45-70wt%, CaO: 2-15wt%, SiO2: 3-12wt%, Al2O3: 15-30wt%, MoO3 or MoO2: 0.1-5wt% and (Na2O+K2O+MnO+FeO): 0.5-5.0wt%, wherein 90% or more of the whole particles have a grain size in the range of 0.25-1.2mm.
