PURPOSE: An automatic four door opening and closing device and method automatically opens and closes doors of a car. CONSTITUTION: An automatic four door opening and closing device comprises a door detector(100), a key input portion(200), a micro computer(300), a motor control part(400), a motor(500) and a gear set(600). The door detector(100) detects whether a door is opened or closed and whether an object exists between the door and a car body or outside of the door. The key input portion(200) is where a user input key signals to automatically open and close the doors. The micro computer(300) receives key signals and detected signals from the key input portion(200) and the door detector(100) and correspondingly outputs control signals. The motor control part(400) receives control signals from the micro computer(300) and outputs driving signals. The motor(500) receives driving signals from the motor control part(400) and rotates. The gear set(600) is engaged between the motor(500) and the car door to open and close the door by the rotation direction of the motor(500).
