METHOD FOR CONTINUOUS-CONTINUOUS CASTING DIFFERENT IRON SPECIES

PURPOSE: A method for continuous-continuous casting different iron species is provided to produce excellent quality of a slab by enabling continuous working in exchanging steel with minimizing mixing phenomenon of steel generated in a tundish. CONSTITUTION: A method for continuous-continuous casting different iron species includes the steps of installing a movable cylindrical split member(100) on one side of a bottom surface of a tundish(20) receiving ingot steel exhausted from a ladle(10); stopping the split member if same steels are continuous-casted, and if different iron species are casted, slowly moving the split member to an exhaust port(30) of the tundish and forming an empty space in direction opposite to the direction of moving the split member and pushing the former ingot steel in the direction of moving the split member not to be left over when the ladle is exchanged with the ladle receiving new ingot steel; controlling the inflow speed of new ingot gold compared to the speed of split member moved to discharge the former ingot steel, so that the new ingot steel does not exceed the split member; and returning the split member to the original position and recontrolling the discharge speed of the new ingot steel if the discharge of the former ingot steel is terminated.
