PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packaging case for kitchen knives capable of packaging a blade of a kitchen knife in the stabilized state and checking the gripping feel by gripping a gripping haft of the kitchen knife. SOLUTION: The packaging case 4 for the kitchen knife 1 is provided with a first packaging material 5 formed of a sheet-shaped mount and a second packaging material 6 formed of a thin wall transparent synthetic resin sheet cover covering the first packaging material 1. The second packaging material 6 is provided with a storage section 7 with a storage recess 8 recessed into almost the same shape as the outer shape of the blade 1. An opening 9 into which the gripping haft 3 or the base end 2c of the blade 2 can be inserted is formed on the side of the base end 8a of the storage recess 8 so that the gripping haft 3 is positioned outside the storage recess 8 and exposed outside the packaging case 4 when the blade 2 is stored in the storage recess 8.
