PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nozzle for continuous casting, with which a wire rod and a thin plate having no inclusion defect can be manufactured. SOLUTION: This nozzle for continuously casting a steel is constituted with a refractory material 1 containing >=50 wt.% titanium oxide, at least a part the material is contact with the molten steel. This refractory material 1 may contain one kind selected among carbon, alumina, zirconia, silica, magnesia, calcia, yttria, ceria, manganese oxide and oxide as the other component except the above titanium oxide.
