PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reel for fishing, having an indicator better in visibility than conventional ones and capable of easily being discriminated in the working conditions. SOLUTION: This reel for fishing has an indicator displaying measuring results and its working conditions at a visible point of the reel rotatably supporting the spool and is characterized by changing colors of the display surface of the indicator according to changes of the working conditions of the reel.
