PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a device for treating dog dungs good in portability, handleable by one hand and capable of selectively collecting the dog dungs by two methods of receiving and picking and taking up according to conditions in the device for treating the dog dungs using a plastic bag in combination. SOLUTION: This device for treating the dog dungs is obtained by freely openably and closably connecting individual opening containers (10a and 10b) composing a closed container part (1) by a pair through an L-shaped frame (20) and a hinge part (4), providing a crane bucket state, lengthening a hinge shaft (41) from the width of the hinge part (4), making the hinge shaft (41) slidable and usable also as a handle, providing the hinge part (4) at a position for keeping a space for admitting fingers between the hinge shaft (41) and the L-shaped frame (20) arid arranging a means for urging the paired opening containers (10a and 10b) in the opening direction, automatically locking, maintaining the closed mouth state of the container part (1) when closing both the opening containers (10a and 10b) and optionally releasing the locked state by operation of a knob (22).
