PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manpower and cost and also to eliminate the need of using chemicals such as detergent and wax. SOLUTION: This washing process comprises: passing water through a water activation tank 3 packed with granular ceramic particles 8, 8a, etc., to obtain active water containing eluted borosilicates; adding a borosilicate aqueous solution and a water glass aqueous solution to the active water to obtain a washing liquid; and thereafter, jetting out the washing liquid toward the surface of an object to be washed, to wash the surface of the object and concurrently to form a coating film on the surface. Thus, washing capability of the washing liquid can be improved by using the active water, and also the borosilicates contained in the washing liquid (i.e., eluted and added borosilicates) and the water glass contained in the washing liquid (i.e., added water glass) are deposited on the surface of the objected to be washed. The mechanism of this process involves: blocking open pores of an water-absorbing object to be washed with water glass; depositing borosilicates and water glass on the surface of the object by an electrodeposition effect due to charge generated from tourmaline and also activating water by the charge.
