<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for decreasing unreacted monomers remaining in a vinyl polymer efficiently at a low cost without the necessity for a special apparatus, heat energy, etc. SOLUTION: In this method, a water-soluble inorganic salt which can make unreacted monomers contained in a vinyl polymer water-soluble is added to an aqueous dispersion containing particles of the vinyl polymer dispersed in an aqueous medium, thus making the unreacted monomers water-soluble; then, the unreacted monomers are removed together with the aqueous medium. A resin for toner is provided which contains a vinyl polymer of which the unreacted monomer content is decreased by the method.</p> |
