PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject composite where a fibrous liquid crystalline polymer is dispersed therein with the interfacial adhesive force between the liquid crystalline polymer and fluororesins raised to effect homogeneous dispersion of the liquid crystalline polymer and result in the composite with high mechanical strength, high modulus and low shrinkage. SOLUTION: This composite is such as to contain a fibrous thermoplastic liquid crystalline polymer in thermomeltable fluororesins; wherein as part of the thermomeltable fluororesins, those (that) containing functional group(s) such as carboxylic acid group, ester group and/or hydroxyl group are (is) used.
